I took the uncompressed video from https://archive.org/details/ATripDownMarketStreet_HD and encoded two compressed high-quality versions using the H.264 codec, since the provided H.264 version is of poor quality. These compressed versions are of very high visual quality.
The first version is provided in the original 1920x1080 pixel dimensions, and a second one is scaled down to 960x540 pixel (50%), in case you have limited bandwidth. 30 second samples are included for both versions.
Both were compressed using ffmpeg/libx264 with CRF 19 and slower (for the Full HD version) and slow (for the scaled down version) presets. The framerate is 15fps.
I removed the duplicated and interpolated frames that are present in the original, which was artificially increased to 29.97fps, since it looked rather poor in my opinion.
